Megan has over fifteen years of experience working at the intersection of finance, technology, and energy / environment in the U.S. and Australia. She enjoys engaging with diverse and growing teams, structuring and executing transactions, and finding and supporting transformative companies.
Megan’s career spanned both the public and private sectors before she co-founded King River. Most recently, she led conservation finance and corporate engagement teams at The Nature Conservancy, the world’s largest non-profit focused on the environment. Before that, Megan was a Vice President at Angeleno Group, a clean energy technology venture capital firm, where she co-led investments including Stem, Renew Financial, New Forests, Click Energy, and ParkMe. She began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she held various positions in investment banking in New York and Sydney, and helped to launch the firm’s environmental markets and strategy group.
Megan cares deeply about public service, and served as a Recovery Act Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy in 2009, and as an Advisory Council member at the Millennium Challenge Corporation from 2016-18. Throughout her career she has also been active with various organizations that aim to foster strong professional networks among women.
She has an AB from Harvard College in Environmental Science & Public Policy, an MS from Stanford in in Environment and Resources, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
